Receive the following error when booting a XA guest VM on a Hyper-V host from Citrix PVS server.
This error occurs because there is no entry for the device in the PVS host. However this can also occur if the VM has been live migrated or moved to another Hyper-V host. When this occurs the VM picks up another MAC address, which is no doubt different from the MAC address registered in the PVS or DHCP server. So change the MAC address to static and set to what the existing MAC address is in the PVS or DHCP servers for the host and try booting again. This will occur for VMS who's MAC addresses are set to dynamic and VM's are live migrated between Hyper-V hosts.
