ever wondered where an Azure WordPress site database settings can be found? WordPress in Azure uses a MySQL Database. This can be either Azure in App MySQL or an Azure PaaS MySQL databases. This database and the DB machine can be created at the same time, so it can sometimes be difficult to determine the database settings if they ever need to be changed. Below is one way on how to find them.
Access the Kudu tool from the Development tools section of the Web App.
From KUDU select CMD from debug console and click on ‘edit’ button for file wp-config.php this file has database settings and location.
